On the way to the New Ukrainian School

Lecturers of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology received certificates of a master trainer for the training of students in conditions of the New Ukrainian School.
May 22, teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology S.N. Bezborodykh, I.A. Grechishkina (Department of Preschool and Primary Education), Ye.V. Slobodian (Department of Philological Sciences) within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian project “Development of civil competencies in Ukraine – DOCCU” were trained in the course “Forming civil competencies for future primary school teachers” and received certificates of a master trainer for education for democratic citizenship and human rights, development of civil competencies.
The aim of the project was to upgrade the qualifications of university teachers, train the trainer for education for democratic citizenship and human rights; development of civil competence for the system of teacher education in the development and implementation of curricula for education for democratic citizenship and for human rights; the introduction of modules into the educational programs of higher educational institutions, as well as the techniques and technologies for the development of civic competencies among university lecturers and students – future teachers of the New Ukrainian School.
From September 1, 2018, the master trainers will start training students and teachers to work in the conditions of the New Ukrainian School for forming children’s citizen competencies.
