“In the Region of Mykola Lysenko-2018”

A concert of the project “In the Region of Mykola Lysenko-2018” took place at the Institute of Culture and Arts.

The concert was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Poltava regional organization of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine, which now includes composers from Luhansk.

Within the framework of this project, under the slogan “Music Unites Ukraine”, the musical collectives of the Institute of Culture and Arts of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University performed works of modern well-known and young composers of Poltava region and Luhansk region.

The concert was attended by a mixed student choir, orchestra of folk instruments and chamber orchestra.

The mixed student choir of the Institute of Culture and Arts of LTSNU started the concert. The artistic director and conductor was the teacher of the Department of Musical Arts and Choreography Victoria Yunda; the concertmaster – Tetiana Osretsova.

During the concert there were performed the works of young composers: the fourth-year student of the Institute of Culture and Arts majoring in “Music Arts” – Vladislav Bogdanovych “Love Your Ukraine” on the poem by T. Shevchenko and the master student majoring in “Music Arts, winner of the International and All-Ukrainian creative contests Vladislav Beloglazov “Here are many obelisks” on the poem by L. Kostenko.

Also was the work of the teacher of the Department of Musical Arts and Choreography of the ICA, Head of the Poltava regional organization of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine Tamara Oskomenko-Parulava – a choral scene for the mixed choir and piano “Oh, romance blossoms in the mountain” on the poem by T. Shevchenko.

The Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Institute of Culture and Arts (the artistic director and conductor – teacher of the Department of Musical Arts and Choreography Katerina Reznikova) performed a work of the head of the Department of Musical Arts and Choreography, the chairman of the Luhansk Regional Organization of the National All-Ukrainian Music Union, Doctor of Art History, Professor, Honored Worker of Arts of Ukraine Andrii Stashevsky, “Drawing of the Skomorokh” from the suite “Ancient Frescos”.

The Institute of Culture and Arts is being replenished with new creative teams all the time. One of them is the chamber orchestra headed by the teacher of the Department of Musical Arts and Choreography Svitlana Rychagova. The collective presented a number of different works. There was a concert for cello and chamber orchestra of the Poltava composer Volodymyr Karlash. The solo on cello was performed by Svitlana Rychagova, the conductor – Tamara Parulava. Also, the work of Tamara Oskomenko-Parulava “The Prayer of David” on the words by the Georgian poet David Guramishvili translated by Mykola Bazhan for the baritone and chamber orchestra. The soloist was the 2nd year student majoring in “Musical Art” Serhii Spysiuk. Also was the miniature by the composer Tamara Oskomenko-Parulava – Humoreska “Biganina” for string orchestra.

The concert was finished by a young composer, third-year student majoring in “Musical Art” Dmytro Goloborodov – “One day of life” for violin, string orchestra and drums. The soloist – the author of music Dmytro Goloborodov. The party of percussions was performed by the fourth-year student majoring in “Musical Art” Serhii Mazur.
