Week of the state attestation
22.5.2018
May 21, 2018 the week of state attestation on the educational degree “Bachelor” started at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.
More than 200 graduates-bachelors will demonstrate daily the level of scientific-theoretical and vocational-practical training majoring in “Preschool Education”, “Primary Education”, “Special Education”, “Psychology”, “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology”.
Among the graduates are participants in military operations, who defended and continue to defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The most famous graduate of the bachelor’s degree, the pride of the Institute and the University Lyudmila Aisin, the owner of the highest state award – the Order of Princess Olga. This is the President’s award for outstanding services to Ukraine.
She is one of those who first rose to defend our Motherland, joining a volunteer battalion “Aidar”. Then, in 2014, when the war started and the Ukrainian army experienced the biggest decline in the history of Ukraine, they as volunteers stood in the way of the aggressor without weapons, clothing and foodstuffs, stopped it and prevented Putin’s plans to seize eight regions of Ukraine and the creation of the so-called “Novorossia”.
It was in Starobilsk on May 22, 2014 that the first operation of the Aidar battalion took place. A group of volunteers from Luhansk, Rovenky, Antratsyt and patriots from other regions of Ukraine defeated and captured a gang of Russian mercenaries who blocked the movement of Ukrainian military equipment in the direction of Luhansk for several days. Therefore, the battalion received its name in honor of the Aidar river, on whose shores the first battle took place.
Now 546 combatants are studying at the University. The greater part of them are students of the ER IPP. Liudmyla Aisin is a graduate majoring in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology”. The fact that she and other participants in the hostilities choose this profession is evidence that they are dreaming of a peaceful future and a non-military profession. They know the huge problems of the population, which became a victim of Russian aggression, received psychological trauma, lost housing, work, family ties; want to professionally help people to cope with complex social, psychological and pedagogical problems.
The Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology is proud of its graduates, who now represent a highly professional Ukrainian army.
