The Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences hosted a methodological seminar on social work.
Scientific activity is a component of the successful development of higher educational institutions and society. Methodological seminars on topical issues that will be in demand for practical activities of specialists who provide an opportunity to improve the scientific potential of the university and the educational sector of the country.
Tetiana Ivchenko, head of the Department of Social Work, addressed the seminar participants with a welcoming speech, who noted the importance of the event and expressed hope for its continuation in the future.
The first-third year students majoring in “Social Work” took part in the seminar.
The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of the University Leonid Vakhovsky, Candidate of Sociological Sciences Kateryna Kotelenets and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Viktoria Stepanenko were lecturers at the event.
The Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Leonid Ts. Vakhovsky presented the report “Methodology in social work” and noted that the methodology has a constructive character and influences the result of cognition.
The Candidate of Sociological Sciences Kateryna Kotelenets reported on sociological methods in social work. The practical exercises with questionnaires and analysis of documents were particularly interesting and cognitive.
The use of the experiment in scientific research on social work was told by the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Viktoria Stepanenko.
At the end of the event, Tetiana Ivchenko thanked all participants and stressed the importance of this event for writing scientific articles by students.
