“Ukraine-Solidarity-NATO”

Recently, as part of the “Ukraine-Solidarity-NATO” project, the seminar “Ukraine-NATO: the Safety Formula” was held at the East Ukrainian Volodymyr Dahl National University.

The aim of the seminar was to conduct awareness-raising work aimed at raising the level of citizens’ awareness on the issues of Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.

The students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University (Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences) took part in the event.

The students communicated with the Chairman of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Iryna Friz. The seminar participants had the opportunity to watch the film “Freedom Alliance” in order to understand the history of NATO.

IrYna Friz stressed: “Our task today is to destroy the myths that have been created and implanted for years for us and our parents, to understand what NATO is, what the Alliance was created, how it works and how to make decisions.”
