Vyshyvanka Day in the city of Kreminna

On May 17, the Institute of Physical Education and Sports celebrated World Vyshyvanka Day with a festive photo session.

The idea of ​​the action “World Vyshyvanka Day” in 2006 was offered by the student of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University Lesia Voroniuk. She invited groupmates and students to choose one day and all together put on vyshyvanka. First embroidered shirts were dressed by several dozen students and several faculty teachers. During the following years, the celebration expanded to the All-Ukrainian level. The Ukrainian diaspora around the world, as well as admirers of Ukrainian culture joined to the celebration.

On May 17, lecturers and students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports put on embroideries with dignity and respect! By the way, it should be noted that the national clothes significantly decorate the holding of various holidays and its popularity is growing every year.

Today the formation of national consciousness of student youth is a very important task not only for higher educational institutions, but also for modern Ukrainian society in general, since the youth is the future of our nation!
