The College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University hosted an event “The Saved World Remembers …”
The Second World War … It is farther and farther away from us.
We all know that it was terrible and bloody, swallowed up an incredible number of peaceful people who just wanted to live. The war reminds of itself with thousands of obelisks and mass graves.
On May 8, the College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University hosted an event “The World Saved Remembers…” on the Victory Day. Today students and teachers of the College honored the memory of heroes in the Second World War. The goal was to get acquainted with the pages of the history of our country, the formation of ideas about military duty and loyalty to the Motherland, fostering love for the native land, a sense of mentality, emotional stimulation of patriotic feelings of students through familiarization with military traditions, fostering respect for each other and the older generation.
The earthly bow to everyone who suffered years of occupation and hell of concentration camps. Our duty is to be worthy of their life’s achievement, affirming peace and harmony in our native land.
