Student Scientific Conference

The Student Scientific Conference was held at the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Human Health.
Within the framework of the University Days of Science, the Student Scientific Conference devoted to the issues of preservation and restoration of human health was held at the Physical Rehabilitation and Human Health Department of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
On the first day of the conference nine students of the Department made presentations. The topic of the speeches concerned a wide range of issues. So, the first-year student with the reduced term of study majoring in “Secondary Education (Human Health)” Natalia Shipilova presented a report on the topic “Correction of the deviant behavior of adolescents by means of physical training”. Students majoring in “Physical therapy, Ergotherapy” Artem Olhovoi, Viktoria Rybina and Dmytro Kharkovsky in their reports touched upon the issues of physical therapy of cardiovascular diseases and pathology of the musculoskeletal system. The third-year students majoring in “Human Health” Polina Menzhinska and Svitlana Shcherbak presented their own recommendations for preserving the health of young people.
The second day of the conference was held on the basis of the municipal institution “Kreminna Medical College”. From the Department at the joint event, the second-year student majoring in “Physical Rehabilitation” Serhii Savchenko gave a report on Scandinavian walking as a means of prevention and rehabilitation; Valeria Ryzhkova (III year, specialty “Human Health”) with the report “Social Pathology”; Victoria Volodina (I course with a reduced term of study, specialty “Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy”) spoke about the specifics of the organization of rehabilitation care for the population.
The Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Human Health of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports expresses gratitude to the Kreminna Medical College and wishes all the participants of the conference further scientific success and good health.
