The students of the ER IPES won prizes in competitions in athletics.

The traditional 5th Kharkiv International Marathon took place in the city of  Kharkiv.

In total, 10 000 athletes from 25 countries including Germany, Slovakia, Iran, Kenya, Morocco, etc. participated in the Marathon.

The competitions were held in four races. In the mini marathon (distance 4200 m), in which 5626 athletes participated, the best was the first-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports” of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports Andrii Lysenko, who came to the finish line first and received a gold medal.

In Vinnitsa, the team Ukrainian Athletics Championships took place. In the individual competition in the 10,000 m race, the second-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports” Bogdana Semenova. She showed an excellent result – 34.57 min. and took the 1st place.
