Annual Days of Science

On April 26 – 27, the annual Days of Science “The first step into science” took place at the College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Science is one of the most important forms of society’s culture, and its development is the most important factor in the renewal of all the basic spheres of human life.

At the time of the annual event, the College students presented developments on local history topics. Olga Ivanivna Bublik, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science and Law of  LTSNU became the scientific adviser for the young researchers.

The students of the College presented their reports on the following topics: “Education of Starobilsk land at the end. XIX – early. XX century”, “Spiritual reports of Starobelshchina at the end. XIX – early. XX century”, “The life and way of life of the inhabitants of Starobilsk district in the XIX century”, “The history of Proizhdzhe village”, “The history of Verkhnia Pokrovka village”.

Modern science contributes to the formation of a person’s mentality, makes a significant contribution to its all-round development, positively influences the ideology of the young generation, develops skills to work with historical sources and conduct one’s own research activities. Therefore, students of the College take part in conferences, science days, Olympiads and are engaged in writing scientific articles and reports.
