Fair of Professions
27.4.2018
Representatives of LTSNU took part in the Fair of Professions, which took place in Starobilsk school No. 4.
An important component of the activity of the institution of higher education is vocational guidance work. This allows for more in-depth study of the educational needs of applicants and is a prerequisite for a successful admission campaign. Within the framework of working with young people, a delegation of our University consisting of employees of the Marketing Department and a specialist of the Admission Committee visited Starobilsk school No. 4, where the Open Day for the parental community was held.
This day has become a real holiday for all present. According to the head of the school O.P. Kobilyatska, an event of this format in the institution takes place for the first time, but positive feedback from parents confirm the expediency of continuing work in this direction.
The program of the Open Day was very busy. Parents attended lessons and individual consultations with teachers, could participate in the training on harmonization of family relations. Also at the event were the achievements of students and their creative work. At the end of the event a festive concert was held.
Within the framework of the Open Day, the Fair of Occupations was held, in which institutions of higher and vocational education of Starobilsk distrcit took part. Representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University had an opportunity to talk with the schoolchildren, to tell in detail about the specifics of training and the conditions for admission to LTSNU.
The Open Day opened wide opportunities for all participants of the educational process. Parents were better informed about the achievements and problems of the educational institutions; the teachers had the opportunity to demonstrate their professional skills and get new experience; the pupils not only studied but also had a good rest, and for the representatives of our university the event was a great opportunity to talk with the entrants and once again talk about advantages of training in one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the East of Ukraine.
