Concert “APRIL DANCE 2018”

The Institute of Culture and Arts hosted a concert “APRIL DANCE 2018”, dedicated to the International Dance Day.

The students majoring in “Choreography” and guests from Poltava choreographic groups – the dance school “Skyline”, the exemplary choreographic ensemble “Sokolki” and the dancing and sports club “Dinamo” took part in the concert.

The Organization of UNESCO chose the birthday of the famous French choreographer Jean-Georges Noverre, who was called the father of modern ballet, to celebrate the International Dance Day. But at the concert there was presented not only ballet, but also dance genres of modern choreography including contemporary, hip-hop, tango, jive and folk dances. The concert also featured songs performed by students majoring in “Musical Art” and teachers of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography.

Thanks to the teachers of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography Lyudmila Sokol, Roman Gromtsev, Olga Osipenko and students majoring in “Culturology” and “Audiovisual Art and Production” for preparing a wonderful concert that left the audience with vivid impressions and good mood.
