International Scientific and Practical Conference

On April 25-26, the II International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference was held at the ER IPES. 

The II International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Modern Trends and Prospects for the Development of Physical Culture of Pupils and Student Youth” was held in the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, within the framework of the Days of Science.

The initiator of the conference was the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education. The co-organizers of the conference were the Belarusian State University, the State University of Physical Education and Sport of the Republic of Moldova.

The Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, senior lecturer, Honored Worker of Physical Training and Sports of Ukraine, Honored Trainer of Ukraine, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Training and Sports Yu. M. Polulyashchenko addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

96 scientists from 19 educational institutions, school teachers, doctoral students, postgraduate students, who exchanged the results of scientific and practical research, took part in the conference.

The program of the conference consisted of a plenary session and the work of sections on the directions: “Physical education”, “Olympic and professional sports”, “Physical rehabilitation and human health”. Here reports were also conducted online.

Issues of the conference:

1) the quality of vocational training in higher educational institutions;

2) the humanistic, spiritual and moral value of physical culture and sports and their place in the modern education system;

3) psychological and pedagogical aspects of physical education and sports;

4) the formation of physical culture of the personality of pupils and students;

5) modern innovative technologies of physical education and sports;

6) Olympic and professional sports;

7) health, fitness, recreation and physical rehabilitation.

At the end of the conference, all participants received certificates.

Following the results of the conference, it is planned to publish “Bulletin of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. Series: Pedagogical Sciences”, which is a specialized scientific publication of Ukraine.

The work at the conference was rich, fruitful, interesting, and constructive. It helped define promising areas for improving the quality of education for pupils and students, and for establishing closer relations between schools and universities.

During the discussion of the results of the conference, the scientists focused on its high level and expressed the desire to continue this practice in the future.
