Memory of the outstanding scientist

Volunteers from the LTSNU arranged the grave of the Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Yakov Borysovych Reznik.

Volunteering is one of the most difficult in modern society. Every day thousands of philanthropists around the world are making efforts and helping the needy. The role of volunteers in Ukraine has increased especially in recent years, when the state has to prove its right to a free and democratic existence.

Students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University are active participants of socially significant projects. Last year the Volunteer Detachment “Zabota” resumed its activity, the participants of which had already held the first actions, which united the students of LTSNU.

Recently volunteers visited the former city cemetery to equip the grave of a famous teacher, Professor Ya.B. Reznik. Yakov Borysovych is a famous teacher in Starobilsk district, a teacher at the Starobilsk Teachers’ Institute. The invaluable contribution of the scientist to science today is remembered by grateful descendants.

Volunteers have been taking care of the grave of Yakov Borysovych for several years now and consider this an honorable affair, because they feel the connection of generations and have a desire to study the history of their land.
