Meeting with Oleksii Nezhyvyi

Staff and students of the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences met with a writer Oleksii Nezhyvyi. 

On April 24, a meeting with the famous literary scholar, writer, publicist, journalist, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Head of the Luhansk Regional Organization of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine and the National Union of Local History of Ukraine Oleksii Ivanovych Nezhyvyi was held in the Starobilsk Central Regional Library.

The meeting was attended by employees and students majoring in “Social Work” of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences of LTSNU Iryna Borovenska, Oleksii Zharyi and Ksenia Tomilko.

The creative bag of Oleksii Ivanovych includes 20 books, over 300 scientific and popular scientific publications on literary criticism, history of pedagogy of Ukraine, folklore, methods of teaching the Ukrainian language and literature, as well as more than 700 publications in periodicals, radio and television.

Oleksii Nezhyvyi presented the result of a thirty-year study of the life and work of an outstanding writer, the electronic book “Hryhir Tiutiunnyk:” a moment and eternity”, discussed the life and work of the writer and poet Ivan Savich, Ivan Oleksiiovych and Nadiia Oleksiivna Svetlychni and many other remarkable outstanding people of our region.

During the event, there was a warm, welcoming atmosphere, as if “home-like.” During personal memories on the face of Oleksii Ivanovych there were tears that mingled with joy and pride for our land. Emotions overwhelmed not only the speaker, but also the listeners.
