Demonstration lessons of Oriental languages

On April 21, students of 9th, 10th and 11th grades studying in Poltava visited  free lessons in four languages, namely Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and Turkish.

At the lessons, students met with lecturers and students, learned interesting facts about the country and language, and learned some of the most commonly used phrases (good day, how are you, my name is.., thank you, etc.).

The Chinese teacher taught interesting facts about the characters and taught some of them. Present at the event, admitted that writing characters is not difficult at all, but interesting! Students also waited for an entertaining program – short theatrical performances, songs.

Leaflets were pre-ordered, distributed among schoolchildren. After the event, the teachers of the Oriental Language Department discussed lessons and decided to hold such lessons next year, but in a slightly different format.
