Training in civil defense in the city of Rubizhne

On April 18, a comprehensive training in civil defense was held in the Rubizhne O.Ye. Porai-Koshytsia Polytechnic College and ER IPMIT.

The main objectives of the training are to check the readiness of the civil defense management bodies and civil defense formations of the Rubizhne O.Ye. Porai-Koshytsia Polytechnic College and Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University for actions in case of threat and occurrence of emergencies connected with fires; improve the skills and practical actions of the leadership, management and civil defense units, to alert personnel and students about the threat of emergencies.

The first stage of training (theoretical) began with a lecture attended by the teaching staff, first-year students and employees of the College and Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies.

During the second stage (practical) there were worked out elements of alerting employees and students and their actions on the signal of civil defense “ATTENTION TO ALL”. On the alert signal in the event of a conditional fire, the participants of the educational process were evacuated to the yard. Special in this training was the evacuation from the assembly hall (a solemn event and the appearance of a fire during the holiday were simulated). Considering the training of some groups on the second shift, in parallel with the evacuation from the educational buildings evacuation took place from the hostel.

Training evacuation took place in the regulatory time.

After the training, the civil defense official Volodymyr M. Golodenko noted the work of the warning unit, the teaching staff, students, who acted clearly and harmoniously.

We hope that emergency situations will bypass our University, but regular training in case of problems will help to minimize their consequences.
