Master class for children

On April 14, students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology took part in the organization and holding of the master class.

The initiator and venue of the master class was the Charitable Foundation “Mercy Lugansk” in the space STBcityHub. This is a new organization with which the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology plans to sign a memorandum of cooperation. Within it, students will be able to engage in volunteer and charitable activities, as well as pass pedagogical practice in the specialties “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” and “Psychology”. In addition, the Foundation will become an experimental platform for the implementation of social, pedagogical and psychological research.

The target audience for the work of the Foundation is children with special needs and their families. Students majoring in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” and “Preschool Education” conducted a master class with elements of art therapy aimed at stabilizing the psychoemotional state of children in the STB city Hub space. Straws, a brush, balls – all this became the reason of good mood for small participants of the action.

At the same time, a meeting of parents was held in the format of a support group together with the psychologist. The theme of the meeting was “Experience as an Instrument of Psychological Support.”
