The “Festival of Sports” started, the program of which includes futsal, basketball and volleyball competitions.

The academic year 2017-2018 is coming to the end, and the student youth of the structural subdivisions summarizes the sports year with competitions in futsal, basketball and volleyball, which are included in the program of the “Festival of Sports”. Only collective teams of the colleges and the Regional Center for Vocational Education, who are studying in the city of Starobilsk, institutes and departments of the University, Lysychansk Pedagogical College and the Institute of Physical Education and Sports are allowed to compete.

The Festival of Sports started with futsal competitions. Unfortunately, the future teachers of physical education (the team of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports) did not appear at the competitions.

In the first match, the university team played against the combined team of colleges and the RCVE. The first team consisted of students from ICSTT, IPMIT, IHIRSPS, IEB and FNS. The second team included only students of the CLNU, which this year received a significant gaming experience, playing at the winter mini-football championship of the Starobilsk district. No matter how hard the university team tried to resist the opponent, this desire was not enough. The fast players of the College dominated at the playing ground and won with a score of 7:2.

In the second fight, the university team confronted the Lysychansk Pedagogical College. Lysychansk players have always been a “tough nut” in the futsal tournaments of the university. The game started with mutual attacks and only at the end of the half, the fans saw the goal. The university team acted more quickly and led the account. And Pedagogical College found strength and ability to align position on the site. The match ended with a score of 4:4.

In the final game, the team of CLNU played against Lysychansk Pedagogical College. The team of the College lowered the pace of the game on the playing ground: there was more fighting and less sharp points at the opponent’s goal. And their absence and affects the outcome of the match.

The first time ended in a goalless draw. The second half looked like the first, the attacks of teams faded on the approaches to the penalty area. In one of the next offensives, the Lysychansk players play a hand in the goalkeeper’s zone and this was a “penalty” – a six-meter strike. Ivan Nalyvaiko clearly realized it. Losing 1: 0 Lysychansk team played more actively. Four minutes before the end, Maksym Vinokurov scored a goal – 1: 1.

The tension in the confrontation reached its climax. The players did not spare either themselves or the opponents. In such matches, both power and character is manifested. When you need to squeeze your teeth and go to the desired goal. In this case, you need to play football, and not appeal to a judge. The best qualities in this situation were demonstrated by the futsalists of the Lysychansk Pedagogical College, who fought for the ball to the end. In the last minute, Nazar Kim held the second goal and brought victory to his team with a score of 2:1. This victory led the team of Lysychansk Pedagogical College in first place with three points.

The second place was taken by the team of the College of LTSNU (two points). The third was the combined team  (one point). The best scorer was Mykola Shirai with four goals; and Vladislav Barabash was recognized as the best player.
