“Pysanka of Unity”

Students of the University held an action for Easter “Pysanka of Unity”.

Pysanka is one of the ancient forms of Ukrainian folk painting, in which our ancestors embodied their aspirations and faith. Its production in the Ukrainian tradition was endowed with a sacred meaning and was included in the traditional ritual sphere.

The initiative group “Inventors”, under the guidance of the teacher of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences Kateryna Kotelenets, organized and held the Easter action “Pysanka of Unity”. The purpose of the event is to unite the sincere aspiration of the residents of the city of Starobilsk to peace, prosperity and comfort in Ukraine. Everyone had the opportunity to leave their wishes, dreams and requests to the Lord in a symbolic letter, which the group’s representatives decorated the central square of the city. In general, more than 50 Starobilsk organizations took part in the action.

Customs and traditions of the Ukrainian people are a prerequisite for the formation of national consciousness and unity of the whole country. Even the smallest gift can be the best, if you put your soul, warmth and best wishes into it. Turning to the many years of experience of our ancestors, we should continue their work worthily and give people good.
