Prize places in All-Ukrainian contests

Students of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications won prizes in various All-Ukrainian competitions.

So, the master student majoring in “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (in Russian)” Denis Smirnov took the 2nd place in the III All-Ukrainian Pupils and Student Youth Competition named after Maria Fisher-Slizh “Compete for a New Life!”, dedicated to Lesya Ukrainka.

The fourth-year student majoring in “Philology. Ukrainian Language and Literature” Vladislav Radchenko took the III place in the All-Ukrainian Contest of Pupils and Student Works named after Mykola Gogol.

The main pride for the Faculty and student team of the FUPSC was the victory of the first-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)” Halyna Tarakanova in the All-Ukrainian Contest of Student Scientific Works (Uman, 2018).

Her work “Symbolic images in the songs of the group “Okean Elzy” under the scientific supervision of the Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language Oksana Kleshcheva took the III place among 57 works submitted for participation in the second stage of the contest.

The young researcher made an attempt to analyze the author’s song art of the group leader Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and explored the symbolic nature of the songs of the group “Okean Elzy”.

The teaching staff of the FUPSC congratulate Denis, Vladislav and Halyna on the victory and wish them new creative achievements!
