Days of Science at the IPP

Days of Science began at the Department of Social Pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.
On April 2, the Days of Science began at the Department of Social Pedagogy of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology in the framework of the complex theme of the student scientific society “Social, pedagogical and psychological activity with various categories of the population in the conditions of a hybrid war in the east of Ukraine.”
More than 20 participants took part in the work of the section including teachers and the first-fourth year students majoring in “Social Work. Social pedagogy. Practical Psychology”, “Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology”, “Social Pedagogy. Social and Rehabilitation Activities in Penitentiary Institutions.”
The Days of Science were opened by Olena Karaman, the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor; Oksana Tsalapova, Deputy Director for Academic Work of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor.
They stressed the relevance of the research topics to address a number of social, psychological and pedagogical problems in the current conditions of military and information aggression in the East of Ukraine; the importance of integrating education and science into the training of specialists of a new generation, the development of the country’s scientific and innovative potential; the role of students’ participation in the All-Ukrainian competitions of student scientific works and olympiads in the university ranking indicators.
The most interesting were speeches of the following participants: A.A. Udovika, the inspector of the Starobilsk District Department for Probation of the North-Eastern Interregional Directorate for the Execution of Penalties and Probation of the Ministry of Justice with the report “Peculiarities of the Work of the Starobilsk District Department on Probation of the North-Eastern Interregional Directorate for Issues Execution of Criminal Penalties and Probation of the Ministry of Justice”; K.V. Yevonova, fourth-year student majoring in “Social Pedagogy. Social and Rehabilitation Activities in Penitentiary Institutions” with the report “Social and Pedagogical Activities to Overcome Social Exclusion of Children with Disabilities”; S.A. Mishura, second-year student majoring in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” with the report “Social and Pedagogical Support of Adolescents of the Third Millennium in the Context of the New Ukrainian School”; A.S. Sidorova, second-year student majoring in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” with the report “Preventive Work of a Social Pedagogue with an Antisocial Family, Which is a Factor in the Suicidal Behavior of Adolescent Children”; D.N. Lymanska, second-year student majoring in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” with the report “Prevention of Internet Addiction in Adolescents with the Help of Communication Training”, etc.
During the work of the section, senior students were able to present the achievements of their own scientific research, and freshmen – to plunge into the interesting world of science, to ponder over the problems of future research.
Based on the materials of the reports on the Days of Science, the IPP will publish a collection of scientific works of students entitled “The Scientific Search for Young Researchers”.
