“Gifted Youth – 2018”

The annual All-Ukrainian Festival-Contest “Gifted Youth” was held at the Institute of Culture and Arts.

The Festival-Contest is aimed at identifying and supporting young talents among pupils and students. This year, more than 700 participants from nine regions of Ukraine gathered at the Festival-Contest “Gifted Youth”: Luhansk, Donetsk, Poltava, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd. The contestants competed in the following nominations: “Musical Art”, “Choreography”, “Fine Arts”, “Decorative and Applied Art”, “Cinema-, TV-arts”.

Grand Prix in the nomination “Musical Art” was awarded to a student of the B.M. Lyatoshynsky Music School of Kharkiv Veronika Mostova (academic vocal) in the nomination “Decorative and Applied Arts”. Grand Prix was awarded to a student of the specialized boarding school “Collegium of Arts in Opishnia” named after V. Krichevsky Rymma Mykytenko for the decorative sculpture “High Flight”.

At the Gala-concert, the winners and laureates of the first prizes and the Grand Prix were awarded, whose skills and artistry aroused delight and violent emotions.
