“Trainee Day”

A traditional event “Trainee Day” was held at the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences. 

The Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences (the legendary “History Faculty”) is one of the oldest structural subdivisions of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Our Institute is a truly cultural phenomenon; its graduates are carriers of interesting and unusual traditions. One such tradition is the celebration of the “Trainee Day”. It is the evening of the meeting of alumni and the birthday of the institution at the same time. By the way, last Friday our subdivision turned 84 years old.

In 2018, as always, the “Trainee Day” was held according to the traditions of the History Faculty. The event began with the execution of the legendary institute song “As always”, and then graduates of different years, despite status and rank, showed various performances: they joked, sang, demonstrated their theatrical abilities.

So, Leonid Vakhovskyi sang a lyrical song, the Director of the Institute A.V. Bader together with his deputy I.V. Zhurba performed as entertainers, K.M. Kotelenets performed hits and girls of “IstFak” showed a humorous performance.

The artistic part was completed by the execution of the Institute’s anthem. However, the evening did not end there, there were also dances, songs, communication, and, as they say, “to be continued”.
