Meeting with Olga Bryzgina

A meeting of students and teachers with the three-time Olympic Champion Olga Bryzgina was held in the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

Olga Arkadiina Bryzgina is a three-time Olympic Champion in track and field athletics, a member of the Athletics Federation of Ukraine, a multiple champion and record holder of the USSR, winner of the award “Sports Glory of Ukraine”.

Olga Arkadiivna told about the first steps in athletics, about the exciting moments of competitions, about the ways of becoming in the big sport, about how medals were won and what difficulties had to be overcome on the way to sports Olympus.

She together with her husband, Viktor Arkadiyovych Bryzgin, won four gold Olympic medals. Their daughter Yelyzaveta, following her parents, won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in London – in 2012.

It should be noted that Olga Arkadiivna, Victor Arkadiyovych and their daughter Yelyzaveta are graduates of our Institute, and we are proud of this!
