Mountain bike racing competitions

On March 17-18 the mountain bike racing competitions were held in the forest park area of the Kreminna district near the sports complex “Olimp”.
Despite the difficult weather conditions, 42 sportsmen from six teams took part in the winter championship of the region. These competitions were served by the experienced judges of the Luhansk Region Cycling Federation and students of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
In the team standings, according to the results of two days of the championship in an individual race for the time and the group race, the best were athletes from the Children’s and Youth Sports School “Olympic Hope” (the city of Kreminna, the coach is V.V. Kubai).
In the individual standings among the juniors the absolute champion was Bohdan Kovalenko (Children’s and Youth Sports School “Olympic Hope”, the city of Kreminna, the coach is V.V. Kubai);
Among the young boys born in 2002-2003 in the individual race the best was Bohdan Koshelev (Kreminna CUSS of MON, the coach is S.M. Koshelev), the group race was won by Pavlo Bondarenko from the city of Severodonetsk (the coach is Ye.V. Ignatov).
Among the young boys born in 2006 and younger the absolute champion the second year in a row became Danylo Sokolov, who trains under the guidance of the graduate of the IPES K.S. Naberezhna (CYSS “Olympic Hope” the city of Kreminna).
Among the girls born in 2002-2003 in the individual race, the victory was won by the pupil of the deserved coach of Ukraine Ye.V. Ignatov Tetiana Boiarchuk (the city of Severodonetsk). In the group race, the first was the representative of the Kreminna region Veronika Nepomniashchaia (CYSS “Olympic Hope”, the coach is V.V. Kubai).
Among the girls born in 2004 and younger in 2 kinds of competitions the best was Maryna Butenko (CYSS “Olympic Hope”, the coach is V.V. Kubai).
The pupils of the IPES student Iryna Tverdokhlebova, athletes from the team of SC “Zenith” LSO FSO “Spartak” Mykyta Zasorin became the third in the individual race and the second in the cross-country group race, Mykyta Voroshylin won the bronze in the group race.
Winners and prize-winners of the competitions, in addition to traditional medals and certificates from the Department of Youth and Sports of the State Administration, also received souvenir attributes from the FCS “Spartak”.
