Impressions of students

Students shared their impressions of participating in the IX International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2018”.

Recently, our University delegation took part in the main educational event of Ukraine – IX International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions -2018”. Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism Yelyzaveta Medvedeva and Yulia Ignatenko also presented the achievements of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

At the end of the event, the girls told about their impressions and shared their plans for the future.

• Girls, this year you had the opportunity to represent our University in the delegation at the International Exhibition for the first time. What did you expect from this educational event on the eve of the trip?

We expected to get acquainted with new people, visit the capital of Ukraine and get the experience necessary for further professional activity.

• Three days of the exhibition flew by quickly. What was most memorable for you during this time?

Most of all, we were impressed by the interest of other educators in our University. Many scholars asked our teachers questions, studied the scientific work that our teachers represented. We were pleasantly surprised by such attention to our native Institute and University.

• The exhibition was accompanied by a substantial thematic program, which included conferences, presentations, seminars and master classes. Did you manage to participate in such events?

Of course, during these days, many conferences and workshops took place. We managed to take part in one of them. Together with the teachers of other institutions of higher education, we made a flower composition dedicated to Easter. This is an interesting experience, which we will remember for a long time.

• The International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions” took place in Kyiv. What impressions did you make on this city and its sights?

Despite the fact that a lot of time was occupied by work at the Exhibition, we took the time to get acquainted with Kyiv. The Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technology and Tourism Viktor Drel gave us an interesting tour. We visited Independence Square, Khreshchatyk, Golden Gate, as well as many other sights.

• The exhibition was over. What are your plans for the future? Is there a desire to continue participating in such events?

We are very grateful to our teachers for the opportunity to visit this exhibition. During this time, each of us learned more about our native University and the specifics of studying in other educational institutions. In the future, of course, we want to achieve significant results in professional work, and in the nearest future, we are going to practice in Turkey. We are full of impressions, and we hope that we will continue to participate in such events.

The International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2018” brought together Ukrainian scientists and provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and present their own achievements. Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University not only confirmed the high rank of the flagship of the higher education of the east of Ukraine, but also proved that our students are a real pride of the University.
