Trial External Independent Evaluation in English

A trial external independent evaluation in English was conducted by the Romance and Germanic Philology Department.
Participation in the trial external independent evaluation provided students with an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the evaluation procedure, the procedure for access to the test station, the structure and rules for filling in the test workbooks.
Since September 2017, six-month courses have been organised for students of the 10th and 11th forms in Poltava and Poltava region. Participants of the trial independent evaluation had made every effort at the preparatory courses they had been attending with pleasure, fulfilling all the tasks and carefully preparing for the classes. Future entrants have great expectations on obtaining high scores on the official external independent evaluation. Most students have decided to associate their profession with foreign languages, namely English, French, German, and Spanish, so we hope for future entrants of Romance and Germanic Philology Department.
All twenty participants in the trial independent evaluation have been awarded with certificates confirming completion of preparatory courses. After rewarding, the students successfully have passed the trial external independent evaluation in English. The peculiarity of external independent evaluation in English this year is the introduction of such kind of speech activity as listening. As a result, future entrants are able to test not only reading and writing skills, but listening and understanding of speech.
We wish success to the future entrants at the official external independent evaluation in English, which will take place on June 1, 2018. Good luck!
