Students of ER IPES took part in several sports competitions and won prizes.

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part in the All-Ukrainian Greco-Roman Wrestling Tournament for the prizes of the two-time Olympic champion Ivan Bogdan, in the Ukrainian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship among youth and in the Ukrainian Weightlifting Championship.

The master student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports” Serhii Korotkykh, in the 67 kg weight category took the first place and received a gold medal. The first-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports” Mykyta Pervomaiskyi received a silver medal in the 63 kg weight category, and the first-year students Danylo Korchma (specialty” Physical Culture and Sports. Sports”) and Stanislav Maltsev (specialty “Secondary Education. Physical Culture”) received bronze medals in the weight categories 72 and 77 kg respectively.

In the city of Kryvyi Rih at the Ukrainian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship among youth, the first-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Physical Culture” Stanislav Maltsev received a bronze medal.

In the competitions of the Ukrainian Weightlifting Cup, which was held in the city of Chernihiv, the first-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports” Vitalii Serheiev in the weight category up to 69 kg won a gold medal with a 279 kg biathlon (134 spurt + 145 push), and the second-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports” Bohdan Buriatshek took the 2nd place and got a silver medal with the result of the biathlon 373kg (165kg – jerk and 208 – push).
