LTSNU – Leader of International Activity!

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was awarded the honorary title “Leader of International Activity”.

During the IX International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions” and the VII International Exhibition of Education Abroad “World Edu” LTSNU received a well-deserved award.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a constant and active participant of the exhibition from the day of its foundation. Annually, the University is recognized as a leader in various categories. The University is the owner of about 20 medals for innovativeness, topical scientific developments, quality of education, etc.

This year the honorary title “Leader of International Activity” was added in the scientific coin box of the University. International activity of the University is chosen as a priority not accidentally, because LTSNU is approaching the European standards of education. The signed agreements with the universities of China, Poland, Georgia, Kazakhstan on cooperation in the field of educational, scientific and cultural activities and the implementation of specific scientific projects, the implementation of the student mobility program with the support of the Confucius Institute and the students’ working practices abroad are evidence of this.

Before taking part in the exhibition directly, LTSNU presented to the members of the competitive commission the results of the university activities over the past year. Experts noted that in 2017 the University received significant results in all areas of activity: preservation and increase of the student contingent; improving the quality of the staff; organization of educational activities and ensuring the quality of the educational process; educational, methodical and information support of the educational process; the effectiveness of research, innovation, international, socio-humanitarian, sports and artistic activities; development of the material and technical base and social infrastructure. It was for these results that Luhansk National University was recognized as the winner and awarded the Grand Prix in the nomination “Leader of International Activities”.

Being already the fourth year in a row under unusual conditions, the University was recognized as worthy of the deserved award of the year in terms of the rates of development, innovation and results of international activity.

Also, our University received a gold medal in the nomination “The introduction of modern teaching aids, projects, programs and technologies for improving the effectiveness of the teaching and upbringing process” for the project “Dual education as a technology for training specialists in Luhansk Taras University National Shevchenko.”

The indicator of successful activity of LTSNU is the certificate “Quality of Scientific Publications”, which was solemnly presented to the university delegation.

The teachers of the educational and research institute of commerce, serving technologies and tourism, who took part in writing the work presented at the exhibition, were awarded with diplomas for persistent fruitful work on introduction of innovative technologies in educational and scientific activity.  

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University strengthens its image abroad and increases its competitiveness and attractiveness among foreign partners.
