Visiting of museum

Students of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports visited the museum.

Studying the history of the native land is an integral part of the implementation of the plan for social and humanitarian work of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports. Therefore, our students and teachers regularly visit the Kreminna regional museum of local lore, which is a visiting card of the city. Over the years of activity, it has become part of the cultural life of the district, an important means of patriotic education of youth.

The museum consists of sections, the exposition of which tells about the history of the region from antiquity to modern times. Among them are “Archeology”, “Slobozhanshchyna”, “World War I and Revolution”, “Donbas”, “World War II”, “Department of exhibitions”, “Kreminna forests”.

Especially students liked the stand “Sports Glory of Kreminna land”, which includes both the high sports achievements and information about outstanding countrymen: Honored coach of Ukraine V.D. Bilyi; International Master of Sports of Ukraine N.M. Bila; Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine in cycling, bronze medalist of the Olympic Games Iryna Yanovych, who is a graduate of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

Also, the students learned about work of the museum, that there are constant reviews and thematic excursions, creative meetings and meetings devoted to calendar dates. Workers of the museum constantly conduct prospecting and research work.

At the end of the excursion, the students thanked to the museum workers for a meaningful and interesting meeting and made a record in the review book.
