“Modern Educational Institutions – 2018”

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the IX International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2018”.

The main event of the Ukrainian educational industry annually unites scientists in the search for effective ways to improve the quality of education and facilitate the establishment of business contacts, which is the key to further cooperation. Teachers, educators, applicants and parents have an opportunity to get acquainted with the achievements of the best higher educational institutions of Ukraine, learn about the features of training and discuss innovative ideas, which creates prerequisites for the development of the sphere of educational services.

The organizer of the event is the company “Exhibition World” with the support and participation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. Greeting for the participants, organizers and guests are traditionally sent by representatives of the Government, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, the President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, as well as the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Vitalii Kurylo.

The grand opening was attended by high-ranking guests, namely, the President of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl Hryhorovych Kremen; the Director of the Institute for Modernization of Educational Content, the Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Oleg Mykhailovych Spirin, the Executive Director of educational events of the company “Exhibition World” Vitalii Sokol and the Director of the company “Exhibition World” Svitlana Volodymyrivna Rudko.

Vasyl Kremen congratulated the participants of the conference on behalf of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. He outlined the main tasks of modern education and stressed the need to form a competitive personality. Especially the academician thanked the teachers and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The Director of the Institute for Modernization of Educational Content О.М. Spirin noted that the exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions” opens wide opportunities for finding partners that will help raise the level of the educational process to the best international indicators. He also wished the participants fruitful and constructive work.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was represented by a delegation consisting of the Chairman of the Supervisory Council Vitalii Kurylo, Director of the educational and research institute of commerce, serving technology and tourism Viktor Drel, the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Olena Karaman and employees of the Marketing Department.

Within three days the exhibition participants will be able to take part in a substantial thematic program that includes conferences, presentations, seminars, round tables, master classes, workshops, open lessons, panel discussions with the participation of leaders, leading specialists and scientists of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, practitioners in the field of education and representatives of foreign educational institutions.

The event hosted a rating exhibition competition with the awarding of the Grand Prix “Leader of Higher Education”, “Leader of Postgraduate Education”, “Leader of International Activities”, “Leader of Scientific and Technical Activity”, “Leader of Vocational Education”, as well as competitions on thematic nominations with the awarding of gold, silver and bronze medals. According to the ranking of the international scientometric database Scopus, the organizers of the exhibition presented certificates of “Quality of Scientific Publications” to representatives of educational institutions. Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University received such a certificate.

To participate in the thematic nomination “The introduction of modern teaching aids, projects, programs and technologies to improve the efficiency of the teaching and educational process,” the scientists of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism prepared the work “Dual education as a technology for training specialists in Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”. Based on the results of the competitive selection and examination, LTSNU project received a gold medal, as well as a certificate “Quality of Scientific Publications” according to the rating of the international scientometric database Scopus.

In the rating exhibition-competition, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was awarded the Grand Prix diploma “Leader of International Activity”. The honorary guests presented the award to the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Olena Karaman to the storm of applause.
