Results of the contest of illustrations

On March 14, the awarding of winners of the illustrations contest, which was held on the occasion of the 204th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birthday, took place.

The contest was attended by students, teachers and staff of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts, the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism, Rubizhne O.E. Porai-Koshytsia Polytechnic College, Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College, College of LTSNU, Lysychansk Pedagogical College, Kadiivka Pedagogical College.

The contest participants performed illustrations of both the most famous poems of Taras Shevchenko and the little-known lines. Most of all they turned to the poems “Sadok Vyshni Kolo Haty” (Cherry Garden near the House) and “Meni Trynadtsiyatyi Mynalo” (I was 13).

Defining the winners, the members of the jury took into account the originality of the interpretation of the literary work and the perfection of the technique of execution. Illustrators demonstrated creativity in the artistic solution of works and masterful mastery of various drawing techniques: oil, pastel, gouache, watercolor, etc.

The victory went to the student of Rubizhne O.E. Porai-Koshytsia Polytechnic College Kateryna Parfenova for the work “Zillia Dyva Narobylo – Topoleiu Stala”.

The second place was shared by Lilia Kravets, a student of Lysychansk Pedagogical College and Anastasia Yarmolenko, a student of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts.

The third place was given to Natalia Dehtyar, senior lecturer of the Department of Fine Arts and Professional Mastery of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts.

Another creative work took the III place. This is a drawing of a student of the College of LTSNU Volodymyr Reshetnik.
