Poetry contest dedicated to the creativity of Taras Shevchenko

The results of the poetry contest dedicated to the creativity of Taras Shevchenko were summed up. 

“Poetry is always uniqueness, some immortal touch to the soul …” Lina Kostenko’s words speak tell the magic of art better, its ability to touch the thin strings of the soul. Every time, when poetic lines not only cause emotion and inspire reflection, but also inspire the creation of poetry, a real miracle happens – the miracle of creativity. This ability of Shevchenko’s lines as the touch of a genius to open talents is evidenced by the work of the participants in the poetry contest dedicated to the artist.

The poetry contest dedicated to Taras Shevchenko was held in the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, which was held on the occasion of the 204th anniversary of the poet’s birth. Teachers and students of the Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College, the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Institute of Economy and Business, the Robizhne O.Ye. Porai-Koshitsia Polytechnic College, the Kadiivka Pedagogical College, the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications took part in the competition.

During the evaluation of the participants’ work, the originality, disclosure of intent, and poetry were taken into account.

The winners were:

1st place

Nadiya Demchuk, 1st-year student majoring in “Information, Library and Archival Affairs” of Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College of LTSNU.

2nd place

Natalia V. Voitenko, teacher of the Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College of LTSNU.

Anastasia Gorban, 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

3rd place

Anna Kucherova, 3rd-year student (based on 9 classes) majoring in “Preschool Education” of Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College of LTSNU.

Anastasia Kuptsova, 1st-year student majoring in “Biology” of the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
