Participation in social and political event

Teachers and students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the Institute of Culture and Arts, carrying out the educational process in the city of Poltava, took part in the important socio-political event.

On March 12, within the framework of the project “Restoration of governance and reconciliation in conflict communities in Ukraine”, implemented by UNDP in Ukraine, a meeting of the faculty and student activists with delegations of authorities and public figures of Luhansk, Donetsk and Poltava oblasts took place.

The guests were interested in how the adaptation of our units to the new living conditions and activities in the Poltava region took place.

At the meeting at the Poltava University of Economics and Trade, a meeting with guests (25 participants from two eastern regions) was led by the Rector of the University A.A. Nestulia, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Ivan Karpenko, Deputy Director of the Institute N.V. Nazarenko.

The head of Poltava University told about the work to ensure normal conditions for study and life of teachers and students of Luhansk National University. He firmly assured that he would continue to support the Luhansk resettlers and thanked them for their active participation in the cultural and social life of Poltava.

Representatives of our divisions shared their impressions of their stay in Poltava, interaction with local authorities, cultural institutions, and educational institutions.

The guests answered the question of teachers and students, promised to provide financial and organizational assistance in solving their problems.
