Classroom-Based Training Week

The week of classroom-based training was held since March 10 to March 15 at the Institute of Trade, Customer Services and Tourism of LNU.
Future graphic designers got practical skills of working with graphical editors and principles of projecting graphical objects and subject environment by using computer technologies.
Graduate courses student-designers got advice regarding the state examinations. Future teachers – the students of master’s specialties “Graphical Design” and “Interior Design” – had the opportunity to take the pedagogical internship on the base of the university and get skills of the educational process arrangement.
“The classroom training is very important, especially for the students of our professions – artists and designers, – noted the Head of the Department of Design Anna Ovcharenko, – it gives the possibility of communicating with the teachers, conduce idea exchange and discussing”.
The week of classroom-based training was useful for the department teachers as well. They could hold consultations regarding Science Days which are traditionally arranged in April at the university. This year, in spite of the situation, all events will be held interactively – in the form of online conferences and webinars.

In Ukraine demand for designer profession is increasing more and more. That is why, in the conditions of modern economy development, training these professionals becomes more significant. In our country design is considered as the applied industry. But the professional designers work in different activity field – from model business to hardscape development.
The Department of Design of LNU ITCST prepares designers who according to the teachers can influence on many economy sectors development. Nowadays graphic designer is in demand in any field that has advertisement. And this is everywhere. So, this training direction becomes more and more popular. The institute graduates have already succeeded in different companies in different parts of Ukraine and abroad. Among them there are Yuliia Chornoshchokova – designer of print media materials in Printstore Group company (the city of Kyiv), Daria Nesmieianova – interior design consultant (the city of Kyiv), Maryna Batovkina – art nail designer in “Tom Art” (the city of Mogilev, Republic of Belarus) . Olha Pryima – is a master student of the department, works as a teacher in Luhansk Regional College of Culture and Arts and in art school in the city of Kreminna.
