Master’s Diplomas

On March 5, almost 300 graduates of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology received Master’s degrees.

Today graduates of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology together with their teachers and scientific advisors gathered in the Assembly Hall of the University to celebrate together an important, solemn and joyful event – the awarding of the Master’s Diplomas of the oldest institution of higher education in the eastern region of Ukraine – Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University!

At the same time, this event was extremely touching and even sad for each of those present because of the years spent together, which irreversibly passed, successes and failures that experienced together; and simply by the fact that it would be difficult to get together in the same composition in future.

In the Hall were graduates of the most important professions – “Preschool Education”, “Primary Education”, “Special Education”, “Psychology”, “Social Work”, “Pedagogy of Higher Education”, where a Man stands in the center of the professional activity.

As the Director of the IPP Olena Karaman said in her welcoming speech to the graduates, there are no more majestic professions on earth than the teacher, educator, psychologist, social worker; more worthy mission than to educate a person, to form a person, to help in difficult periods of life, giving one’s own heart, experience, knowledge for the continuation of the human race, the development of material and spiritual culture, the progress of science and technology.

The graduation of the Master’s courses 2018 will go down for ever in the history of the University and Luhansk region, because this is the first graduation of military students, combatants who defended and continue to defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country. They are from Western Ukraine, as well as our compatriots, who fought heroically for the Luhansk frontier post, Luhansk airport, Lutugino, Georgievka, suburbs of the city of Luhansk.

Today Taras Shevchenko National University and the Armed Forces of Ukraine act as a united front in the fight against the aggressor, restoring Ukraine’s integrity and upholding high national values ​​- freedom, democracy, the rule of law, sovereignty, independence – all that should become the basis for the formation of Ukraine as a single political nation; strong, rich and prosperous country.

The Rector of the University Serhii Savchenko and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Meniailenko solemnly presented diplomas.

The master student majoring in “Primary Education” G. Shcherbak addressed to the university administration and teachers of the IPP with words of gratitude. She handed flowers to the Director Olena Karaman and deputy directors O. Tsalapova and V. Pushko from the whole graduation.

Graduates were congratulated by the artists of the Center for Culture and Leisure of the University and the dance ensemble of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology “VIVEN”.
