Graduates of LNU

LNU graduates have necessary background for successful carrier and worldwide recognition. Anastasiia Deart has proved this by personal example.
Anastasia graduated from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in 2002 (specialty “English and German Languages and Foreign Literature”). The same year she received master’s degree (“English Language and Literature”). Today she is a docent of the Department of Translation Theory and Practice of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
According to the AU PAIR program Anastasiia was working in Paris (France) with children in two families and was studying French during 2002 – 2003 academic year.
When Anastasia came back to Luhansk in 2003 she began working as the English teacher in Lyceum of Foreign Languages where together with her colleagues they were developing the education program and a textbook for a subject “Guide-Interpreter”.
Since February 2005 Anastasia Deart has taken part in the Ukrainian-Swedish project on social development of the East of Ukraine where she has functioned as the official translator and project coordinator’s assistant. After such cooperation and qualification she has entered the postgraduate course of LNU (specialty “Social Pedagogy”) and successfully defended the thesis and received a degree of the Candidate of Pedagogic Sciences.
Anastasia Deart is the leading lecturer of the Department of Translation Theory and Practice. The lecturer coordinates the work of student scientific society, takes an active part in scientific and educative work of the university, actively participates in the international, Ukrainian and regional conferences. So, last November she took part in the international seminar on the important questions of training translators (the City of Brussels, Belgium) and her report based on the audiovisual translation researches interested the foreign colleagues at the III International Forum in Brest (France). The author is suggested to present her research results in the scientific publication of France.
