Meeting with the film director

A meeting with the film director Olga Mykhailyuk took place the University.  

Today our University has become the center for the cultural life of Starobilsk land. Olga Mykhailyuk came to the educational institution. She directed many creative projects and performances. She together with Serhii Letuchii presented the project “Endless Journey or Aeneid” – a multimedia collage based on works by Ivan Kotlyarevsky and Yuri Andrukhovych.

The event was attended by teachers, staff and students of the University, as well as activists of Starobilsk district. Olga told the audience about intermedia and multimedia – an agreed combination in a single ensemble of two or more media, which are simultaneously perceived by different senses.

During the meeting, the film director focused on her previous works, in particular “Rozdilovi” – a project that opens a multidisciplinary mode of translation, where there are audio / visual images in addition to words. The audience watched the video-poetry and multimedia versions of the performances by Olga Mykhailyuk.

The presentation of the project “Endless Journey or Aeneid” will be held on March 22 in the Assembly Hall of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
