XXII International Tournament

1.3.2018

The XXII International Greco-Roman, Freestyle Wrestling Tournament dedicated to the memory of outstanding fighters and coaches of Ukraine took place in Kyiv.

More than 700 participants from 38 countries, such as Japan, the USA, Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Italy, Algeria, France, etc. took part in the tournament.

Among the participants were three Olympic champions, eight world champions and ten European champions. A third-year student majoring in “Physical Education” of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports Arthur Politaev won a bronze medal in a weight category up to 72 kg in a stubborn struggle with his rival.

We congratulate our sportsman and wish him further success!
