Professor of LTSNU – the owner of the nominal premium

Professor of LTSNU was included in the list of 30 most talented young scientists of Ukraine in 2017, and she became the owner of the nominal premium from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Thus, Maryna F. Averkina, Professor of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, was included in the list of 30 most talented young scientists of Ukraine in 2017 and received the personal premium from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Maryna Fedorivna – Doctor of Economics, works on the topic of sustainable development of cities and agglomerations. She defended her doctoral dissertation at the age of 32.

Maryna F. Averkina has 115 scientific publications, five of which are in publications, which are indexed in SCOPUS.

Programs for assigning scholarships for young scientists are very necessary in Ukraine. This can be called a public recognition of the achievements of the scientist, is a motivation for further work. Scientific research is financed, as a rule, at the expense of teachers’ salaries, therefore this scholarship is a kind of compensation for the scientist’s expenses for scientific research.

30 young scientists annually receive this scholarship. This year more scholarships were received by researchers of technical sciences (10), the least – historical (1), veterinary (1) and philosophical (1).

According to the information of the IEB
