“Ukraine: Medicine. Education”

Teachers and students of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Human Health of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports took part in the Scientific and Practical Conference.

On February 22-23, the V Scientific and Practical Conference “Ukraine: Medicine. Education” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, took place at Bahmut Medical College. The organizers of the conference were Bahmut Medical College, Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education and Association of Medics of Ukraine.

Among the honored guests of the conference were Deputy Mayor of the City for Humanitarian and Social Affairs Viktoria Tochena and Head of the Youth Policy and Children’s Affairs Department of the Bahmut City Council Lyudmila Makhnicheva. The chairman of the organizing committee, director of the Bahmut Medical College, deputy of the Bakhmut City Council Natalia Krasnozhon and the head of the Health Department Olena Mironova addressed the audience

with a welcoming speech.

At the plenary session, a number of reports were presented on the urgent issues of public health and medical education. The most interesting were the speeches delivered by the chairman of the Association of Medical Professionals of Ukraine Serhii Usenko with the report “Medical and Psychological Aid to ATO Participants and Internally Displaced Persons”; Head of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Human Health of the IPES Oleg Vinogradov with the report “Prospects for the Development of Rehabilitation Aid in Ukraine”; “Methodist of the Starobilsk Medical College Olena Barna with a report” Video Conducting of Training Sessions in a Professional Training of Medical Students.”

At the sectional meeting “Problems and achievements of modern medical science”, students and pupils of general education schools made presentations. The highest assessment of the jury, in which the Associate Professor Oleg Vinogradov was invited, was given to presentations by Nina Soroka, a student of Starobilsk Medical College (the scientific adviser is V.V. Dontsova); a student of the Donetsk Higher School of the Olympic Reserve named after S. Bubka Dmytro Pavlov (the scientific adviser is V.I.Virchenko); a student of the Bakhmut School of I-III grades No. 5 Dmytro Krasnov (the scientific adviser is N. Yu. Konyushenko). Winners of the contest received certificates and valuable prizes.

The staff of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Human Health expresses gratitude to the organizers of the conference and wishes further successes in the scientific and pedagogical spheres.
