Our students are winners of the regional stage of the Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition.

On February 17, the winners of the regional stage of the XVIII Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition were awarded in the Severodonetsk secondary school No. 14.

The purpose of the competition is to establish the state status of the Ukrainian language, popularize its prestige among the youth, foster respect for the culture and traditions of the Ukrainian people.

The diploma of the 1st degree among non-humanitarian directions was awarded to Olena Smitanina, second-year student of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications, specialty “Journalism”.

The teaching staff of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University congratulates its students on the victory and wishes new successes.

On the same day, the winners of the regional stage took part in the final stage of the XVIІI Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition.
