Presentation of cooperation

On February 12, a presentation of cooperation between the University and the travel company “Thomas Cook” was held in the assembly hall of the University. 

Thomas Cook Group is a British travel company with a long history and representations in the developed countries of the world. The tour operator is a popular and internationally recognized brand whose main goal is to provide a comfortable rest for clients and guarantee the safety of employees.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University has been interacting with representatives of the tourist company for more than ten years. In accordance with the specialization or work experience, students at the time of foreign practice can improve their professional level and acquired skills.

The development of international relations and partnership at the university on internship abroad is actively engaged in the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism. The Director of the structural subdivision Viktor Drell told the university students about the conditions and requirements for work, and noted the main selection criteria for participating in the practice abroad.

The audience learned about the history of the travel company “Thomas Cook”, the peculiarities of living in Turkey and filled in a questionnaire for the interview. During the meeting, students asked questions that arose during the presentation.

The international activity and official employment is a sign of high quality of education according to world standards. The internship abroad significantly improves the prospects for successful self-realization for our graduates not only on the territory of Ukraine, but also abroad.
