Civil servants competed

There were competitions among teams of civil servants and officials.

The competitions of the winter stage of the Spartakiad among the teams of civil servants and local government officials of the Luhansk region were held in the fitness center “Olimp” and the Kreminna Professional Lyceum. 

The participants were congratulated by the deputy chairman of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Olga Lishik, the chairman of the Kreminna District Administration Natalia Chekhuta, the chairman of the Kreminna District Council Volodymyr Prokopenko, the chairman of the regional trade union committee for state institutions Serhii Tikhonovsky, the director of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports of LTSNU, honored coach of Ukraine, honored worker of physical culture and sports, the chairman of the Lugansk regional organization “Spartak” Yuri Polulyaschenko.

The teams from Svatovsky, Novoaydarsky, Bilokurakinsky, Popasnyansky, Starobilsky districts took part in the competitions organized by the Youth and Sports Administration of the Luhansk Regional State Administration in conjunction with the Luhansk branch of the all-Ukrainian sports and sports society “Spartak”, the regional committee of the trade unions of employees of state institutions and with the support of the judicial corps of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

More than 80 athletes participated in competitions in chess, drafts, table tennis and volleyball. According to the results of performances in all types of the program, the 3rd place was won by the team of the Popasnyansky district, the honorable second place was taken by the team of the Kreminna district, and the team of the Starobilsk district became winners of the winter stage of the Spartakiad. Winners and prizewinners were awarded with certificates and the Cup of Youth and Sports Management, prizes from the regional committee of trade unions of workers of official bodies.
