General meeting of students

On January 30, a general meeting of students took place at the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
On the second day of the academic semester, the Faculty held a traditional gathering of students of all specialties, curators, teachers, heads of departments and dean’s office.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Natalia Matsay congratulated students an teaching staff of the Faculty on the beginning of the second semester. In addition, the Dean of the Faculty singled out the directions of the faculty’s work for the next semester in terms of academic, scientific and social-humanitarian work, and also stressed the need to improve the academic performance and public activity of students.
The Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Olga Gubska summed up the results of the exam and test session and on the basis of this announced who received academic scholarships, and can claim social, brought to the attention of the students of the Faculty the schedule of the educational process for the second semester and once again stressed the importance of labor discipline to achieve good results in school.
The Dean of the Faculty, Natalia Matsai, announced the plan of social and humanitarian work of the Faculty for the second semester of the academic year 2017-2018 and invited the students of the Faculty to participate in the actions planned this week – “Feed the birds in winter”, “Raising awareness of cancer” and meetings with military personnel – students our faculty. Also, students were once again noted about the need to comply with the rules of residence in the hostel; on the observance of the terms of payment for accommodation.
