Organizational meeting

On January 31, at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology an organizational meeting was held, dedicated to the beginning of the 2nd semester of 2017 – 2018 academic year.

Students of all specialties and curators of academic groups, bodies of student self-government, heads of departments, directorate gathered at the event.

The agenda included issues on the organization of educational, scientific, social and humanitarian work of the Institute; planning the work of the student’s directorate and the student council of the hostel in the 2nd semester of the academic year 2017-2018.

Olena Karaman, Director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, dwelled on the results of educational and scientific activity of students in the first semester and put a number of organizational issues on the implementation of tasks in the second semester: improving the quality and success of training; Participation in the ranking based on the results of educational, scientific and socio-humanitarian work; appointment of state scholarships for success in academic and scientific work; the activation of scientific work and the work of student scientific communities (participation in competitions of student scientific works, olympiads in the specialty, Days of Science, scientific conferences, international and domestic projects and grants, publication of articles in institute collections of scientific works of students, etc.).

The Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work Vira Pushko voiced the social and humanitarian work plan of the IPP for the 2nd semester in the academic year 2017-2018; discussed with the attendees the events planned for February 2018 (visit to Luhansk Regional Museum, Maslenitsa, Valentine’s Day, Day of the National Flag of Ukraine, Mother Language Day).

In addition, Vira Pushko reminded the students about the rights and obligations regarding residence in the hostel; compliance with the regime and sanitary and hygienic rules of residence; organization of work of the student council in the hostel; schedules of students on duty; observance of payment terms for accommodation; carrying out the traditional event “Dinner Party”, etc.

The student director I. Maslovska and the chairman of the Student Council in the hostel E. Bosenko talked about the work of bodies of student government in the 2nd semester of the academic year 2017 – 2018.

At the end of the organizational meeting, Olena Karaman and Vira Pushko noted the work of the best students in the first semester and were awarded with the diplomas of the Institute for active participation in the life of the Institute and the University.
