On January 29, a scientific and educational event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Kruty took place at the Luhansk Regional Universal Scientific Library named after M. Gorky.

The battle of Kruty is one of the first battles of the Ukrainians against the totalitarian regime.

Oleksandr Naboka was the main expert of the event. His report was devoted to the unknown aspects of this tragic event. The historian Kyrylo Galushko left his comment on the phone. The own vision of the events was also provided by the local historian Dmytro Luk’yanenko. The listeners of the event were students of the 9th-10th grades, teachers of the Starobilsk secondary school I and other townspeople.
