The first place in table tennis

The team of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports took the first place in the Open Regional Table Tennis Tournament. 

The Team Regional Tournament of the Federation of the Kreminna district on table tennis was held in the city of Kreminna. 25 teams from the Eastern regions of Ukraine took part in the competition, among which was a team of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

The tournament was held in two leagues: the first and the major. According to the results of the qualification selection, the team of IPES confidently entered the major league.

According to the rules of the competition, 12 teams of the major league were divided into two subgroups, where, in turn, the games were held in a circular system for reaching the final. Our team confidently, without a single defeat, took the first place in the group and reached the final of four.

Final meetings gave the fans a lot of emotions and the opportunity to enjoy the unique game of tennis racket masters, because players have a high all-Ukrainian rating.

Again, the team of IPES did not leave any chances to its rivals, having passed the final matches without any defeats. The IPES team left behind the teams from such cities as Liman, Shastia, Kramatorsk, Kreminna, Severodonetsk and others.

The honor of the Institute was defended by the student of the master’s degree majoring in “Physical Education” Iryna Aseeva, the third-year student majoring in “Sports” Evgen Kozhemyakin and the Deputy Director of Educational Work of IPES Pavlo Gordienko.
