Defense of creative and master’s works

The open defense of creative and master’s works of graduates majoring in “Fine Arts” and “Decorative and Applied Arts” took place at the Institute of Culture and Arts.

This solemn event was held in the famous contemporary art gallery “Jump” (the city of Poltava), which is implementing a program to support young artists.

Students, teachers, parents of graduates, all who want to touch the beautiful world of arts were invited to the open event.

The master’s students presented their creative works on painting, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, and animation graphics. The public paid attention to the chess composition of porcelain “Gambit” by the master’s student Maryna Chernogorets, the silver jewelry “Owl” in which Konstantin Karavaev reflected the symbol of our University, the ceramic panel “Memoirs” by Natalia Bodny, the sculpture “The Aspiration of the Flight” by Zhanna Ivanenko, the painting “Prayer” by Olga Agafonova and “Light” by Vladislav Matviyets and the animated film by Anastasia Dontsova, which the examination committee noted as an interesting and original work.

In addition to high professional level of creative work, the graduates showed an appropriate level of research skills in the defense of master’s works. Master’s students Ivan Podgainy, Kateryna Vlasova, Maryna Chernogorets and Olga Agafonova received recommendations for admission to graduate courses.
